Connie Maheswaran: Introduction

Connie Maheswaran is a member of the Crystal Gems and best friend of Steven Universe who later on turned into his girlfriend , who first time appeared in the episode of Bubble Buddies . When Connie met Steven , they became friends , then Connie slowly got to know a lot about the Steven , the Gems and about their past . Her and steven bond grew stronger. Connie decided after getting close with Steven that she will help him and the Crystal Gems in safeguarding Earth from any kind of danger . she took sword started getting training of how to fight it with Pearl since Sworn to Sword. Eventually she became a skilled fighter and often helped the Gems in the time of combats .

After one year, Connie started preparing for colleges admission and devoted most of her time in the studying . though Connie sticks by Steven and helped him recovering from suppressed trauma . After Steven cope , they both decide to meet up as they both were touring for their aims , in the end of series it was revealed that they both were dating each other .

Connie Maheswaran is girl with dark brown skin, who is Indian -American and has a slim body , she is little taller than Steven . Her facial structures are prominent such as her nose , black eyes with thick eyebrows and dark brown puffy hair.

Her hairs were till her waist, when she appeared in the Dewey Wins , when she spit up with Steven , she changed her hair style, cutting them up to her chin-length in the bob style with bangs . In two-years her hair regrown to her shoulder, she wears her bangs back by clipping it with hair clips . She used to wear magenta glasses with lenses of rose coloured, but her sight fixed with Steven’s healing saliva in the indirect Kiss . then to she wore the frame without lenses, but stop it after the events of Nightmare Hospital . talking about her attire  she wears variety of outfits and dresses such as white mint green dress, button down , collared tank top, gray button up shorts etc. When she was training, she wore a purple fighting outfit with red coloured bandana around her waist.

Personality

Connie is a girl with curious mind , she pays attention to very detail and  she is very determined about her future for which she is working hard for applying in the colleges , he she kind and someone who standby  her close people . though she is very determined but gets distracted if she finds somethings more interesting such as reading Buddy Budd wick’s journal or spending time with magic company . She is multitalented , and her hobbies are playing violin, reading , she also used to play tennis . she is very sensible and  calm by nature.

Originally Connie is shy and introverted by nature , she cannot live in one place for longer period because of her parent lifestyles , that’s why her friends doesn’t lasts longer and she end up alone and lonely . She could not participate in the common childhood activities as her parents are strict and won’t allow her .

But when she met Steven and their friendship grew stronger, her confidence increases because of Steven , which helped her stand up for her in front of her mother and talking about how their strict parenting and she also revealed about her involvement in the magical affairs.
